We are the data controller for the personal data described below.
When you order: name, email address, payment details (processed by our payment provider, not stored by us), purchase history, invoice details.
If you subscribe to a newsletter: email address.
When you visit the website: technical data such as IP address and browser type.
If you consent to marketing measurement, we also process Meta cookie identifiers
(_fbp and, where available, _fbc) and events such as page views, product views,
and starting checkout.
After a paid order, only if you consented to marketing measurement beforehand: purchase value, currency, purchased product identifiers, your hashed email address, IP address, browser type, and available Meta cookie identifiers. This measures the purchase through the Meta Conversions API and matches it to the same browser event without counting the purchase twice.
When you start a checkout with consent, we record the consent status, timestamp and version of this privacy information in the Stripe Checkout metadata.

Invoices and accounting records: 7 years, per Dutch tax retention requirements.
Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
Other customer data: no longer than necessary.
The local record of your marketing choice remains on your device until you change
it or clear your browser data. A checkout consent record is retained with the Stripe
Checkout data under the payment and tax retention periods described above. Meta
determines retention periods for data provided to Meta after consent under Meta's
own privacy policy.

Appropriate data-protection arrangements are in place where required. Meta may act as an independent controller for parts of this processing. We do not sell data to third parties.
Some of our processors are established outside the European Economic Area, or process data on infrastructure located outside it. Where this occurs, the transfer takes place under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or under an adequacy decision where one applies. You may request further information about these safeguards at hello@pupclarity.com.
Stripe, Cloudflare, Resend, and Meta may process data in the United States. The transfer safeguards described above apply to those transfers.
We use strictly necessary storage to operate and secure the website. This does not require consent.
Meta Pixel loads only after you choose Accept. Meta may then place or read the
_fbp and _fbc cookies to connect visits and purchases with advertisements.
After a genuinely paid Stripe order, we also send a server event to the Meta
Conversions API. It contains the purchase value in euros, product identifiers,
and available matching data; the email address is SHA-256 hashed before it is sent.
You may reject Meta marketing measurement without affecting your purchase. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change your choice later. After withdrawal, we send no new browser marketing events or matching data for future checkouts to Meta. On the payment confirmation page, we also synchronize a withdrawal with the corresponding pending Stripe Checkout Session so that a server event not yet sent is suppressed. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser.
You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. You may also withdraw consent at any time, including through Cookie settings on the website.

If you are in the EU, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
If you are in the UK, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office.
If you are in California, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under California law.
